FACT: I wear a space suit at work.

Well, it's not really a space suit, but it is Biological Safety Level 3-appropriate gear with a facemask, a respirator, and a surgical gown. It's like I've finally arrived in the land of the nerds. I'm here. I did it. I'm a scientist. Kinda.

Work is getting cooler. It's gotten to the point where I get to be a little more independent and involved in things. The next great big grown-up feeling I hope to achieve is the feeling of being useful.  That's gonna be a big day, when I get that one down pat. I might throw a cocktail party and everything. All in good time, Andrea. All in good time.

My sister forwarded me a link to a blog yesterday. It provided me with one of the best laughs I've had for a while. Please enjoy it.

I don't want to add any of my own commentary, either. It's great just the way it is.

............

Sometimes I think about leaving Xanga for blogspot and doing a total re-launch of my blog. It seems like there are only a few devoted readers (not that I'm ungrateful for you three, by any means) around here... and, uh, how can I say this without sounding conceited? I want more attention. There, I said it. I'm conceited. I like it when people read the things I say and laugh. er... something.

I'm an entertainer at heart.
